Newborn sessions are scheduled all year and are held in my cozy studio located in Airdrie Alberta. It's stocked with an amazing selection of beautiful props, wraps, bonnets, headbands, and adorable outfits - all carefully selected to create beautiful images of your sweet baby.
I'll get to know more about your vision for your session through your pre-session questionnaire.
While I work on capturing stunning images of your baby, you can sit back, relax, and soak in the experience. Your baby will always be in your sight during the session, and I encourage you to watch and enjoy the magic.
Each session includes a variety of portrait setups that I design just for you, based on the answers on your session planning questionnaire beforehand.
I offer a few package options that include precious portraits of parents and siblings with your new baby.
Newborn sessions are shot all year with a limited number of DUE DATES per MONTH.
Once you know your due date you can secure your spot in my calendar by filling out the contact me form.
Session FAQs
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
It’s recommended to schedule your session early, as only a limited number of sessions are available each month, and spots fill quickly. For newborn sessions, booking during your second trimester is ideal to ensure availability.
I also sometimes accept last minute bookings for babies 5-30 days old.
ARE PROPS/ACCESSORIES INCLUDED IN MY NEWBORN SESSION?
All props, headbands, bonnets, outfits, layers, and blankets are included in your studio newborn session. These props are specifically made for professional newborn photographers by talented artist and reputable vendors from across the world.
I am constantly adding to my prop collection.
WHAT IF MY BABY DOESN'T COME ON THEIR DUE DATE (EARLY/LATE)?
Since due dates are mostly an estimate, and birth can be unpredicatable, I use your due date as a placeholder in my schedule. Once your sweet baby arrives I ask that you reach out to me as soon as possible so we can schedule your sessions within 7-14 days. Every birth is unique, so session dates and time are always flexible.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Short answer; Yes!
Long answer; I do require a $50 retainer in order to reserve your session on my calendar and Payment plans are available via Afterpay and Klarna
WHEN/HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
Post-processing is the most time intensive part of your shoot, and so typically my session turnaround is about 3-5 weeks. Photos are delivered via digital download for instant access and easy sharing.
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS & PRINTS?
Absolutely. While your session fee includes the session & digital files only, I also offer custom designed albums, keepsakes and professional prints after your session.
CAN I CANCEL/RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?
Yes. However, once booked all retainers are non refundable, as I am holding the date for you and turning away other clients.
